Digital and printed paddle trail maps for streams in the state of Wisconsin.
Streams are grouped into Central and Northeast Wisconsin (green), Northwest Wisconsin (blue), Southeast Wisconsin (orange), and Southwest Wisconsin (brown) series that have no more than Class I+ whitewater or occasional, easily portaged Class II or higher drops, ledges, or dam remnants. The Wisconsin Whitewater series (red) has stream sections with Class II or higher whitewater that require helmets, spray skirts, flotation, and/or thigh straps.
Some non-whitewater and most whitewater series maps are still in progress. Maps will be added as they are completed. Currently, there are 40 printed sheets available covering 60 rivers and creeks and 100 distinct maps.
