The Paddle It! App will allow users to find moving water trails that are within their interest and skill level. Its map will be filterable by a number of important criterion including:

• Difficulty Classification (I-VI)
• Water levels – whether the section is within a safe, runnable range
• Lack of impassable logjams or other obstacles
• Average compass bearing to avoid headwinds based on wind direction

Additional information that will be available:

• Text description of the paddle trail section
• Access point information tied to Google Places, including reviews and photos
• Locations of key features unavailable as Google Places such as rapids, waterfalls, rock formations, and other points of interest along the paddle trail
• Admin and user-uploaded photos of key features and access points
• Page references and/or links to descriptions in other resources such as guidebooks and websites like Miles Paddled
• Google Place information for other relevant nearby resources such as outfitters, shuttle services, and paddle shops.
